Chef de Partie
Beer & Bird is an exciting new bar & restaurant specialising in craft beers and gourmet free-range buttermilk fried Chicken.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to work in our brand new commercial kitchen. The full time position will involve preparing and frying chicken, as well as preparing a wide range of homemade sauces and side dishes. The successful candidate will also assist with the regular stock take, rotation and daily checks on food – while there may also be scope for promotion to a more senior role in the kitchen.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 year’s experience of working in a commercial Kitchen.
- NVQ level 2 in catering. (Or similar relevant qualification).
- Basic food hygiene certificate.
- Passion and enthusiasm
- An eye for detail
- An ability to produce consistently great food in a busy, high-pressure environment.
The position is full time, and the successful candidate will need to be able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week including evening work and weekends.
