Would you like to work within a part of Cornwall's rich history? We have an exciting Sous chef role within a 17th Century Inn set to the back drop of the stunning Roseland peninsular. Our client owns this charming luxuary hotel promoting 22 rooms and a 2 AA Rosette kitchen. We are in search of a creative, talented and dedicated sous chef who can support the head chef and help in leading the team on.

We are looking for a confident Sous Chef with previous experience within a similar role producing Rosette level cuisine to help assist the head chef within the kitchen. The food produced by the kitchen is classical and beautifully presented from a great menu and dynamic seasonal specials.

  • Running your own section
  • Cooking to a consistently high level
  • You will have a proven track record in 2 rosette kitchens
  • Helping and supporting all members of the kitchen team
  • Being organised
  • Staying calm under pressure
  • Following Food Safety and Health & Safety guidelines and procedures
  • The salary for this role is between £26,000 and £28,000 per annum and will be a full time all year around role, along with this an excellent package of staff benefits is on offer as well as staff tips.

    This is a permanent position and we are ideally looking for candidates who would be immediately available to start.  This role will involve straight and split shifts.

    The position is full time, perm and is an immediate start for the right candidate.
