Cornwall Rural Community Charity (CRCC) is a Cornish charity that informs and guides local groups and individuals to achieve their aspirations and develop sustainable, inclusive communities.

CRCC is a partner in a contract delivering an Adult Carers Service supporting informal and unpaid carers.  We currently have the following vacancies:

(1) CARER SUPPORT WORKER - CORNWALL

    Primarily office based

    24 hours per week

    Salary £17,778 FTE per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

    Fixed term contract, initially to 30 June 2019 (with possibility to extend)

     Providing support, advice, information and opportunities to adult carers   with low to moderate need
 

(2) CARER SUPPORT PRACTITIONER - CORNWALL

     Primarily office based

     28 hours per week

     Salary £20,095 FTE per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

     Fixed term contract, initially to 30 June 2019

     Providing support, advice, information and opportunities to adult carers who have complex needs


(3) CARER ASSESSMENT SUPPORT WORKERS (CASUAL) - CORNWALL

      Zero hours – paid per assessment

      Fixed term contract, initially to 30 June 2019

     Providing carers assessments to adult carers; CRCC is recruiting a small team to meet      our periods of high demand so that carers receive their assessments as early as possible

Working within a team, you will provide information and support to carers, those who are looking after relatives, neighbours or friends who need help.  You will have knowledge and understanding of issues and challenges carers currently face.  You will ideally have experience of:

•    Social care sectors

•    Health and wellbeing sectors

•    Mental health organisations / support

•    Working with statutory, voluntary and community sector organisations

You will have good communication skills and a strong commitment to equality of opportunity, respecting the nine protected characteristics of The Equality Act 2010.

You should be qualified to NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject or be willing to work towards a qualification in your first year.  These posts are office/hub based in the geographical areas listed.
