Do you aim to exceed expectations and get a kick out enabling others to succeed? Our client are looking for a HR Advisor to join their small, friendly and fun HR team. You will work closely with the Senior HR Advisor to provide a high level of support across the Bodmin site, supporting line managers, undertaking administrative tasks and taking ownership of delegated tasks. You will provide HR advice and support to line managers on a range of HR matters, processes and policies, as well as managing the on-site payroll system and liaise with the central payroll team to process weekly and monthly payments. Supporting in the design, organisation, delivery of CSR / employee engagement events and in the creation / delivery of HR-related training materials. Being the liaison with on-site agency providers; supplying daily orders and attending regular meetings is also key in this role. In this role you will be the point of contact for maternity/paternity and absence matters, long service awards and occupational health services. On occasion you will provide generalist HR administrative support and support with adhoc projects. With your previous experience of working in a HR team, providing advice to managers you will be great at building rapport and effective working relationships. The Ideal candidate will possess good IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook and be qualified to CIPD Level 3 with the desire to improve theirself and team. With your excellent communication skills, you will have a strong customer service ethic and be able to cope with changing business requirements.
