This role is for an Online Trading Manager based in Cornwall for a 12m FTC with the possibility to become Permanent. My client is looking for someone to start ASAP and ideally no later than mid June.Client DetailsMy client is a well known high street retailer in Cornwall. One of their core values is all about work life balance and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Cornwall.Description The role of Online Trading Manager involves; Be a key member of the online management team, optimising trade activity and customer journeys across the website.Manage the online trade team to effectively deliver and optimise product launches and actively react to trade insights.Manage the campaign and site update process (email, website content and banners and printed mailbag inserts), balancing key brand messages and commercial targets.Communicate trade updates effectively to the wider online team and tie up plans across all marketing channels.Responsible for Seasonal and Product Launches online, working across teams to deliver the most effective plan possible.Through the development of trade reporting continually feedback on and optimise performance.Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and stay calm when tight deadlines need to be met, an eye for detail and a desire to create an exceptional and seamless customer experience. Stay ahead and react to online trade, drive sales and ensure we meet weekly targets and KPI's.Maintain excellent knowledge of products and seasonal inspiration for current and upcoming collections.Create long and short term online content plans for each season that are data led (past performance of products) and reactive (weather, product changes, delays, trade) as well as being on brand.Work closely with the Content Manager, delivering a plan that is on brand and commercially optimised supported by our key messages.Work closely with the PPC and SEO Manager to align plans and optimise all user journeys.Be a key member of the team that plans out testing across email, paid, and through campaigns.Maintain a regular dialogue with the warehouse team to ensure that all online orders contain the correct/ relevant content, and organise design updates and order top-ups of mailbag inserts and care guides when necessary. Work closely with the Graphic Design Manager to prioritise digital briefs and gain approvals for artwork from all relevant Managers.Be responsible for the final checks prior to campaign launches, reviewing customer journeys and making sure site checks are complete.Maintain a regular dialogue with the merchandising and buying teams to make sure all the latest information on product availability, launch dates and stock levels is communicated.Work closely with the merchandising team to make sure site content delivers on commercial goals. Profile The Online Trading Manager ideally has the below skill set- GCSE English & Maths or equivalent - Experience of working in a similar online marketing or retail role -Exposure of working across platforms including mobile, desktop and tablet -Experience of writing copy and briefing content for web and working in a creative team contributing ideas -Demonstrate that you keep up to date with online developments and trends and can think in an innovative way -Excellent attention to detail and a good eye for design -Demonstrate the ability to take responsibility and lead projects -Skills in report writing using Excel and Word -Experience of using Google Analytics and other insight programmes -Experience of working in a fast paced deadline driven environment -Experience of using a CMS and e-mail system -The ability to work closely with the online marketing team, wider departments and external suppliers, communicating by phone, e-mail and face-to-face in a professional manner -Strong organisational and planning skills -Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail -Motivated, driven and proactive -Team worker -Flexible/adaptable -Loyal -The ability to be a 'doer' as well as the instructor of tasks Evenings and weekends on odd occasions Job Offer£30,000 Competitive package
