We are delighted to be working with Sea Sanctuary, an innovative marine-based, mental health charity, founded in 2006, and the only charity of its kind. Sea Sanctuary supports some of the most vulnerable people in society and was established to provide a different approach and treatment facility. The Sea Sanctuary team hold the assumption that all people accessing the service have the potential to actualize their abilities given the right therapeutic environment; using the setting of the sea we seek to promote, develop and maintain positive mental health and wellbeing.

With the purchase of a new boat and other exciting developments ahead, the CEO needs the help of a Personal Assistant who will be responsible for:-

  • Organising, attending and taking minutes at meetings
  • Managing travel arrangements and related budgets
  • Diary management
  • Being the first point of contact by email and telephone on behalf of the CEO
  • Reviewing and improving processes and systems
  • Managing, leading or co-ordinating projects, undertaking research on behalf of the CEO

We are looking for someone who can meet the following requirements:-

  • To have a commitment to improving mental health and wellbeing
  • Able to work without supervision and be calm under pressure
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach to their work
  • Will be able to demonstrate empathy and confidentiality
  • Will be highly IT Literate and have experience of using Social Media in a work environment
  • Ideally previous experience as a PA
