Manufacturing Engineer / Production / Process / LEAN / Continuous Improvement / Medical Device / Regulation / Automation / Change Control / TPM / SPC / Engineering / FMEA The Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical expertise and lead initiatives to continuously improve working practices to enable world class manufacturing performance. RESPONSIBILITIES: - As one of the Manufacturing Engineers you will support the manufacturing by offering technical support on both products and processes. - Utilise FMEA analysis and other problem solving tools to ensure robust counter measures. - The Manufacturing Engineer will enthusiastically champion and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying value analysis and lead cost reduction opportunities. - Following data examination, the Manufacturing Engineer will assist in the technical specification, evaluation and approval of new processes and equipment. - Generate, execute and approve change control validation activities in a regulated environment EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline - Experience of working within a medium/high volume manufacturing environment - Prior exposure of a semi automated/automated setting - Proven implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives (preferably six sigma certification) - Capable of prioritising decision making & improvements based on data examination and experience of SPC implementation - Demonstrated an ability to drive change through successful completion of change control through validation activities - Exposure of working within a TPM culture and utilise OEE to drive process improvements Matchtech acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers and is part of Gattaca Plc.
