Girling Jones are looking for a forward thinking and highly creative Bid and tender Coordinator. Working for an excellent organisation within a Small but growing team, this is a role for the succesful person to put their stamp on the role and create things for the future operation of the department. The main job specification for the role is: - Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Project) etc capabilities, for word processing, charts, tables, and graphics creation (must come with) - Taking responsibility for producing finished prequalification and bid/tender documents for submission to clients (documents to be produced from drafts given to the Assistant, technical content produced by others, not this role) - Producing routine internal Sales Dept reports (will be shown, help to create, update) - Using Salesforce CRM (data input and reports; no previous expertise required) - Maintaining and augmenting the bid library (from documents produced; putting on and maintaining a shared drive on company intranet) - Assisting in clerical aspects of department co-ordination and in governance of tenders (will be taught) The individual must have extensive creative/administrative experience with an eye for detail, and a high level of document production skills. The role will require working continuously on several simultaneous tenders, usually over bid periods of two to six weeks.
